ST MARY PARISH, LA (WAFB) - St. Mary Parish Deputies arrested a Centerville man who was discovered with approximately $20,000 worth of drugs.
Kade M. Soprano, 34, of Centerville was arrested on July 18 after deputies responded to a complaint of illegally discharged firearms at a residence.
According to reports, deputies observed a man, who was later identified as Soprano, exiting the rear of the mobile home. Inside the home, deputies discovered a small cooler filled with large bags of marijuana and a small bag of cocaine. After obtaining a search warrant for the rest of the home, deputies and narcotics officials found more marijuana, two handguns, and $4,935 in cash.
Soprano was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, and Schedule II drugs (Lortab and Xanax). In addition to the possession with intent to distribute charges, Soprano was also charged with possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and transactions involving drug proceeds.
