Universal unveils new attraction ‘Skull Island: Reign of Kong’

ORLANDO, FL (WAFB) -

Universal Orlando Resort in Florida unveiled their newest attraction, “Skull Island: Reign of Kong” Thursday.

The new attraction brings the King Kong legend to life where guests are transported to a mysterious world where their mission is to uncover unknown creatures with the 8th Wonder Expedition Company, the research team leading the expedition. Guests brave ancient ruins and board a 40-foot long expedition vehicle to navigate the dangerous terrain.

The vehicle operates on a trackless ride system and takes guests deep into the ominous island, where they find themselves amidst a struggle between ferocious beasts.

Then of course, Kong appears. He’s nearly three stories tall and you can feel his breath and sense his emotions. Is he friend or foe?

For more information about the attraction, visit Universal’s blog at blog.universalorlando.com.
