BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - For one spectacular month, the LSU Rally Possum propelled the Tigers to a stellar 18-3 record. Fans old and young delighted in the possum's mystical baseball magic. While the craze may have dwindled after a disappointing Super Regional, one Lafayette Publisher has come up with a way to keep the fantasy alive.

Acadian House Publishing has re-published "Tah-Tye: The Last 'Possum in the Pouch." This new edition features one special twist: Tah-Tye just so happens to find himself in Alex Box stadium one fateful night in May.

The children's book was originally written by Mary Alice Fontenot who is best known for her "Clovis Crawfish" series. Fontenot's unique tale tells the story of a shy possum who is afraid to leave his mother's pouch, but eventually becomes confident enough to leave his home in the Atchafalaya Basin.

"Tah-Tye: The Last Possum in the Pouch" is available at bookstores and gift shops across Louisiana as well as online at www.acadianhouse.com.
