BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU pitcher Jared Poche' will return to the Tiger baseball team for his senior season.
Poche' announced on Twitter that he is ready for one last ride with the Tigers.
Poche' said head coach Paul Mainieri "was very excited" when Poche called him and let him know he was returning.
Poche' went 9-4 in the 2016 season with a 3.35 ERA. The senior pitcher appeared in 19 games with 17 starts as a junior.
LSU hitting coach Andy Cannizaro welcomed Poche' back via Twitter.
Poche' was drafted in the 14th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres.
