LPSO searching for suspect in two armed robberies

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO) responded to two separate armed robbery complaints Friday afternoon.

Deputies say two men were standing in the yard of a residence on 25000 block of Rosedown Drive in Denham Springs when they were approached by an armed, unidentified male who demanded the victims empty their pockets. According to reports, the suspect took the cash before fleeing on foot.

The second armed robbery occurred on Vincent Road in Denham Springs. According to officials, a man and woman were approached by an unidentified, armed man who demanded cigarettes and cash before fleeing on foot.

Officials say witnesses from both robberies described the suspect as a slender, black male wearing black pants, a black shirt, black hat, and black boots.
