BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The owner of a Baton Rouge body shop is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for attempting to set a BRPD vehicle on fire.
"I'm sitting here in my shop and I'm scared to death that they are going to burn my business down," the owner said.
The business located on Tom Drive is locally owned and has been around for three decades. The BRPD vehicle was one of many law enforcement units being repaired at the business.
"Every facet of law enforcement we do the work for, even the government," he said.
The vehicle was set on fire Thursday night or Friday morning.
If you know anything about this incident or the person responsible, call Crime Stoppers at Crime Stoppers at 344-7867. The $5,000 reward will be in addition to any reward being offered by Crime Stoppers.
