BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - For many people the Fourth of July holiday is a time for barbecuing and visiting with friends. LSU senior defensive tackle Christian LaCouture says the Tigers are no different, as LaCouture and several of his teammates spent Sunday afternoon at assistant coach Ed Orgeron's home in Mandeville.
The mammoth LaCouture says it was a protein feast for himself and his equally large buddies, as Coach Orgeron cooked up ribs, sausage, brisket and all kinds of meat throughout the course of the afternoon.
Now the 6'5, 307 pounder hopes LSU can likewise feast on their opponents this fall. In this interview with WAFB-TV, LaCouture says he has high hopes for the Tigers this season and isn't backing down from some strong comments he made about the squad back in late January.
