LIVONIA, LA (WAFB) - A man accused of sexually abusing a juvenile for several years since the age of 7 has been taken into custody along with a woman who allegedly participated in the abuse, according to the Livonia Police Department.
Damien Kimble, 35, of Plaquemine was arrested and charged with aggravated rape, molestation of a juvenile, and felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Kimble is accused of having numerous sexual interactions with a juvenile under the age of 13.
According to the police report, Kimble allegedly touched the victim inappropriately several times, starting at the age of 7 until the victim was 10. Police report that the abuse escalated after that as Kimble allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with the victim for a three-year period since the victim turned 13.
Jessica Morin, 36, of Plaquemine, was arrested in connection to the case and charged with cruelty to a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and principal to molestation of juvenile.
Morin is accused of knowing about the abuse to the juvenile and allegedly hit the victim leaving marks on the victim's legs and arms, according to the police report.
Kimble was booked into the Iberville Parish jail. His bond was set at 360,000. Morin's bond was set at $30,500.
