BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two people are facing charges after a a Special Response Team had to coax a suspect out of a home following a domestic incident. p
It happened Wednesday morning at a home on Tennessee Street near East Harrison Street. The Baton Rouge Police Department was wrapping up the scene around 5:15 a.m.
Officials say a man barricaded himself in the house. He and a second suspect have been charged with criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
While a news crew was on the scene, members of the Baton Rouge Police Department Special Response Team (SRT) communicated with the man using loud speakers. They told him to come out with his hands up.
A short time later, a man was seen walking out of the house with his hands raised. Officers handcuffed him and placed him in a BRPD unit.
Several other people walked out of the house as well, including at least one child.
Authorities have not released the names of the individuals charged.
