BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A missing dog is back in the loving arms of his owner.
Owner Eddie Lejeune said Noah was found Tuesday morning in the Jefferson Terrace area of Baton Rouge. He added Noah was hungry, but was in very good health.
Lejeune got the call around 6:30 a.m. from a man that spotted Noah near Sharlane Avenue. He was able to go and safely get Noah.
"He was very nervous, I could tell as soon as he started walking towards me that he was ready to run if something went wrong," Lejeune said. "He ended up walking right to me and I picked him up and got him into my arms. I knew I had him when I got him into my arms. And it was a good moment for me."
Lejeune was heartbroken after the black and white Sheltie that helps him with his physical disability disappeared Friday.
A family and community in Baton Rouge searched tirelessly for Noah after he snuck out.
Lejeune thanked the community and Facebook group Lost Pets of Baton Rouge as well as the local police department for all their help.
