BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - On Saturday afternoon, June 25, a deputy was in route to a disturbance when a civilian flagged the deputy down and advised him that there was a man at the store who had been previously banned from the premises.
The suspect, Immanuel Hall, was outside the store with a cold beer and was arguing with a store employee, trying to pay for the beer and claiming the store employee would not take his money. The deputy then recognized Hall from an incident earlier in the day and detained him.
Hall was then transported to the site of the previous incident, where he was identified by the store manager. While being identified by the manager, Hall spit on her and threatened to return to attack her.
Hall was then transported to 4th District and while enroute, spit through the partition in the vehicle onto the officer and some equipment. Hall then advised the officer that he has Hepatitis C.
The suspect was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and is charged with entry remain after forbidden, simple assault, simple battery, and battery of a police officer.
