GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - The nation's largest grocery store is now offering an online pickup service at three stores in the Baton Rouge area.
Customers will be able to order groceries online and pick them up at the store without having to get out of their car. "At Walmart, we have always been known for saving our customers money, and with services like grocery pickup, we are also saving them valuable time. Our customers have told us that grocery pickup is a game changer. They are now able to complete their grocery shopping in a matter of minutes, between errands or on their way home from an after school activity without even unbuckling their seatbelts," says Brent Rome, Walmart's field eCommerce market coach.
The service will feature over 30,000 available items, including fresh meat and produce. All items will be priced the same as in the store. Customers will also be able to select a specific pickup time that suits them best.
