BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Things got a little testy between two members of the LSU board.
There was a small exchange between two board members while discussing the status of Les Miles after the Texas A&M game on November 28, 2015.
The exchange came during a briefing on the status of the new LSU Athletics Assessment by a private firm.
There were days of uncertainty leading up to the game against the Aggies regarding whether or not Miles would be fired. In December 2015, System Board President F. King Alexander confirmed that the final decision to keep Les Miles as head coach was made during a meeting after halftime of the Texas A&M game.
He said Athletic Director Joe Alleva and several members of the LSU Board of Supervisors were in on those last-minute talks.
It was not announced until after the game that Miles would remain the head coach at LSU.
