PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) - Two 12-year-old boys were charged after they were caught on surveillance video riding their bikes and spraying graffiti on vehicles, according to the Port Allen police chief.
At least five different cases were reported to police Saturday night, but neighbors said there could be up to a dozen different vehicles.
There were vulgar words sprayed on the vehicles. Port Allen Police Chief Esdrin Brown said thanks to the surveillance video, they were able to make arrests.
"One of my officers actually saw it and identified the kids because he had dealt with them on prior incidents, nothing involving arrests, just minor stuff," Brown said.
That is why both were issued summons and charged with five counts each of simple criminal damage to property from graffiti.
