Police searching for additional suspects connected to Hammond deadly shooting

HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) - Police say they have issued warrants on two additional suspects in connection to a fatal shooting that happened Monday night in the city of Hammond.

The Hammond Police Department has issued warrants for Kirstopher Banks, 25, of New Orleans and Kevin Mullens, 31, of New Orleans. Police have already arrested Tremayne Sandifer, 24, of Hammond.

The incident happened on Monday, June 13 near the 200 block of South Scanlan Street in Hammond. According to reports, witnesses told investigators Davis met with Sandifer for an alleged drug deal and several shots were fired. Detectives said Davis ran to a nearby house and died.

They added Sandifer drove off in Davis' 2014 silver Toyota Camry. The vehicle has since been recovered.
