BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office are investigating a stabbing that happened at the Neighborhood WalMart on Coursey Blvd near Sherwood Forest Blvd.
Deputies were called to the scene Wednesday shortly before noon. Officials said two employees became involved in an altercation, which led to the stabbing.
Emergency responders transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
Deputies spent much of the afternoon searching the area for the suspect.
The store was closed around noon due to the investigation inside the store.
