BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible hit and run.
Officials say that a Sheriff's deputy found the body of a man in the road in the 7900 block of Greenwell Street at 5:45 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators believe the man may have been the victim of a hit and run.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old, Lavan Akeem Jones, believed to be homeless.
The incident is currently under investigation.
