The Baton Rouge Fire Department was called out to LSU's campus for a building fire that was reported Thursday evening.

Officials said crews responded to the scene of a fire at LSU's Student Health Center located on Infirmary Lane around 8:25 p.m. Thursday.

The firefighters were able to get the fire under control and put it out by 8:40 p.m.

BRFD spokesperson Curt Monte said two workers were in the building at the time, but were able to get out and call for help.
