Kickoff times, TV schedules announced for three 2016 LSU football games

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU football will kickoff in three prime-time, televised games, according to the early season football TV schedule released by the SEC Tuesday.

The Tigers' home opener again Jacksonville State on Sept. 10 will be televised on ESPNU with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT.

LSU's SEC opener will also be televised. The game against Mississippi State, which will be held in Tiger Stadium on Sept. 17, is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start. It will air on either ESPN or ESPN2.

The regular-season finale for LSU was the third game listed to be televised. The Tigers face Texas A&M at Kyle Field on Nov. 24 with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. The Thanksgiving game is set to air on ESPN.

LSU will start off the 2016 season in Green Bay with a season opener against Wisconsin on Sept. 3. The game against the Badgers will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. in Lambeau Field and will be televised on ABC.
