The Baton Rouge Regional was once again dealing with a weather delay Sunday after the games scheduled for Saturday were postponed due to heavy rain that has cause several adjustments to the tournament bracket.
Game 2 of the regional between Rice and Southeastern was stopped at 11:17 a.m. Saturday due to the rain with Rice leading, 4-1, entering the top of the seventh inning. That game resumed Sunday at 11 a.m., with Rice defeating Southeastern, 7-1.
Southeastern was then set to face Utah Valley in Game 3 at 1:04 p.m. but another weather delay pushed back the start time to 2:45 p.m.
On Saturday, officials said Game 4 between LSU and Rice would start about 55 minutes following Game 3.
LSU defeated Utah Valley, 7-1, in Game 1 of the regional on Friday night.
