The event will feature music, food and drinks, and of course, bagpipes!
Bloomsday is celebrated all across the world in countries such as Ireland, Italy, the UK, and France. The purpose of the festival is to commemorate the life of Irish writer, James Joyce, and the fictitious events in his novel, Ulysses.
The name of the festival is derived from the name of the protagonist in the novel, Leopold Bloom. This year's event will feature music inspired by Joyce's writings. Many musical performers will be singing, including Celeste Veillon and Brian Breen.
Readings from Ulysses will also be performed. For more information about the festival, visit www.bririshclub.com or find the group on Facebook.
