BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Despite the great weather this Memorial weekend, not as many people showed up to the seventh annual Bayou Country Superfest as in years past.

The three-day country music fest held in LSU's Tiger Stadium finished with attendance down by 25,000 tickets compared to the gate from 2015.

Officials said 100,000 fans traveled here from across the country to see Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and many others.

City officials said it has been a great addition to the Baton Rouge music scene.

Baton Rouge emergency medical services said only about nine people had to be treated for the heat.

They did run out of band-aids and had to go get more  because there were so many people wearing boots for the first time, who didn't break the boots in before wearing them to the event.
