LSU and Florida meet for fourth time in six days

HOOVER, AL (WAFB) -

LSU and Florida will meet Wednesday night at 8 p.m. in the SEC Tournament.

The Tigers beat Tennessee Tuesday night in a dramatic 5-4 victory in the ninth inning to advance in the tournament.

This will be the fourth time in six days that the Tigers and Gators have met on the diamond. LSU (40-17, 19-11) took two out of three games against Florida (44-11, 19-10) at The Box over the weekend.

Florida is hitting .282 on the season.

Peter Alonso: .352 batting average, 14 doubles and nine home runs     
Dalton Guthrie: .329 batting average, 13 doubles  
Jonathan India: .301 batting average, 12 doubles and three home runs    
Jeremy Vasquez: .297 batting average, 11 doubles             

The pitching staff for the Gators have a 3.00 ERA this season.

Shaun Anderson: 3-0, 0.96 ERA in 28 appearances     
Kirby Snead: 3-1, 2.12 ERA in 34 appearances      
Logan Shore: 10-0, 2.33 ERA in 14 appearances (14 as a starter)   
A.J. Puk: 2-3, 2.93 ERA in 13 appearances (13 as a starter)   
Dane Dunning: 4-2, 2.98 ERA in 25 appearances (five as a starter)
