No. 8 LSU's first game of the series with No. 1 Florida Gators was suspended Thursday night due to severe weather at the Box.
The score was tied at 0-0 in the bottom of the third inning when play was stopped, and LSU rightfielder Antoine Duplantis was up to bat with a runner on second base and one out.
Game 1 will pick back up where it left off at 11 a.m. Saturday and will be a full nine-inning game. No word yet on where the game will be televised.
Game 2 and 3 will be played at the originally scheduled times as the weekend promises to be filled with high drama.
LSU (37-16, 17-10) is on a nine-game winning streak and looking to improve its postseason seeding, while Florida is one game ahead of South Carolina in the SEC East.
The Gators have an impressive 43-9 overall record and are 18-8 in the SEC. Florida has had its struggles away from the Swamp, posting a road record of 12-5 compared to its 29-4 home record and 2-0 neutral site record.
Florida is hitting .284 on the season, including 93 doubles and 44 home runs.
