Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office identifies Sunday afternoon drowning victim

CENTRAL, LA (WAFB) -

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office identified a woman who drowned Sunday afternoon.

32-year-old Kimberly Gillien, of Franklin, died Sunday after authorities received a call about a possible drowning. Initial reports from the LSPO say Gillien was tubing at the time of the incident.

LSPO Sheriff Jason Ard says deputies were dispatched to upper Amite, near the Watson area at about 3:00 p.m.. In a release, Sheriff Ard says foul play is not suspected.
