BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested two sisters after one of them allegedly stabbed their brother.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m. Friday at their home in the 9000 block of Orleans Drive.
According to a probable cause report, 19-year-old Michaelnesha Maloid was cooking when the brother stated that he wanted to eat. When she told him that he couldn't eat yet, he allegedly spit in the food.
The victim told deputies that Michaelnesha then began to punch and slap him.
Deputies say during the altercation, the sister, 20-year-old Precious Maloid walked into the room and saw the physical altercation between the brother and sister.
Precious told deputies that she attempted to intervene on her sister's behalf by pulling out a knife to get the brother to stop hitting the sister.
According to the victim, Precious then stabbed him with the knife.
Michaelnesha and Precious were both arrested and transported to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Michaelnesha has been charged with domestic abuse battery and fugitive from Baker Police. Her bond has been set at $500.
Precious has been charged with aggravated battery with a knife. She has since been released on $2500 bond.
