The New Orleans Saints have dropped five spots in ESPN's Post-free agency power poll.
The Saints are ranked No. 27 down from No. 22.
ESPN's biggest issue with the Saints is once again the defense:
"Not to say the Saints' defense was bad last year, but if you'd brought it to court to help you fight a parking ticket, you'd have ended up doing 25 to life."
The Saints did sign their first round draft pick, defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, on Monday.
The Carolina Panthers lead the NFC South at No. 2 in the rankings, followed by Atlanta at No. 20, and Tampa Bay was at the bottom of the division at No. 29.
The New England Patriots earned the top spot and the Cleveland Browns are once again ranked at the bottom of the league.
