Sweep of Arkansas has Tigers back in the SEC West race

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

After a sweep of Arkansas last weekend, LSU is now within two games of SEC West leading Texas A&M.

Head coach Paul Mainieri faces his old team in South Bend, IN, when the Tigers play Notre Dame Tuesday and Wednesday before traveling to Knoxville for a three-game series against Tennessee.

LSU moves up a couple of spots in this week's baseball polls after the sweep of the Razorbacks.

There are several big matchups this weekend in the SEC, including Texas A&M at South Carolina, Miss. State at Auburn, Kentucky at Ole Miss and Vanderbilt at Florida.
