BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - We stay dry and mild as we end the weekend on Mother's Day.
Clouds will be on the increase through the day with partly cloudy skies by late afternoon. Humidity levels will remain low, but will be on the increase over the coming days.
It will be warm and humid for the work week ahead. Winds will be breezy at times from the south Monday through Thursday. Rain chances will remain fairly slim for the work week. Coverage will be anywhere from 10-30% meaning most should stay dry.
Morning lows will climb towards 70° by work week's end and afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 80°s. A small relief might be felt by Friday as a weak cold front moves through the area during the morning.
