More than 200 registered walkers gathered at Highland Road Park Saturday morning for the annual Mother's Against Drunk Driving (MADD) walk to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving.
District Attorney Hillar Moore's Office and the Baton Rouge Police Department DWI Task Force were on hand to talk to victims and supporters. The event included a victim's tribute where Chinese gas lanterns were released in honor of those who were killed or injured in alcohol-related crashes.
