ADDIS, LA (WAFB) -

The Addis Police Department is looking for a suspect accused of burglarizing a church.

Police said the suspect stole a wallet that contained credit cards and a driver's license from the Addis Baptist Church around 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Detectives said that the suspect then went into a dentist's office about a block away from the church and walked around inside. Workers at the office told police that they found the suspect's actions very odd but that he did not take anything from the building.

Police said the video then showed the suspect getting into a dark-colored Nissan Maxima and left the area.

The suspect was last seen wearing a LSU hoodie, and he also has a visible scar on the right side of his head, according to police.

Anyone with information about the burglary or suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
