Former LSU ace off to a great start for the Phillies

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WAFB) - Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola is tied for fourth in Major League Baseball with 44 strikeouts this season.

Nola, a former Catholic High School product, has started six games for the Phillies this season. He has a 2-2 record and a 2.93 ERA.

The former LSU ace currently has a 20-inning scoreless streak, pitching seven scoreless innings against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday to earn his second victory of the year.
