BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU football great and living Louisiana sports legend Kevin Faulk made waves nationally last week at the NFL draft, wearing a Tom Brady jersey and then using the microphone to support the All-Pro quarterback as he announced the Patriots' third round selection.
In the most recent turn of "Deflategate," Brady has now been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season. Faulk played his entire professional career with the Patriots and Brady, winning three Super Bowls with the franchise.
In an interview, Faulk shared his thoughts on that topic and now junior LSU running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette is now only 1,570 yards behind Faulk's all-time LSU rushing record and the Carencro native believes the junior will break it this season.
