LSU head coach Les Miles got some great recruiting news on Monday with the verbal commitment of junior quarterback Lowell Narcisse.
The four-star quarterback from St. James took to Twitter to announce his big news.
In the tweet, Narcisse stated that he would not do any interviews until after spring practices, which end with the school year, are finished.
While playing for the Wildcats, Narcisse was honored with the Sportsline Courage Award, which is given to someone who demonstrates outstanding courage during the season. He came back from a torn ACL, which happened during a spring game against Chalmette, and was named the Sportsline Player of the Week for the 12th week of the 2015 season.
Narcisse originally chose to commit to Auburn over LSU in July 2015, citing the offensive style as the deciding factor.
The LSU Tigers open the 2016 football season against Wisconsin on Saturday, September 3 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
