BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - An LSU fraternity is under investigation, a university spokesman confirmed Wednesday.
Lambda Chi Alpha Director of Communications Tad Lichtenauer says the fraternity is under investigation for an "alleged incident," but cannot comment any further until the conclusion of the investigation.
LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard says he cannot yet comment about the specifics of the investigation. He did say, however, that the university would follow an accountability process for Greek organizations known as PS-52.
"We take behavioral issues or anything that impacts student safety seriously. Anytime a student organization violates the values of their organization or the values of the university, we follow the PS52 process, which we are currently with Lambda Chi Alpha."
This is a developing situation, but we will update this story as we get new information.
