BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police said a domestic incident in which a man is accused of breaking into a woman's home, taking her against her will and forcing himself on her resulted in his arrest on several charges.
Damion Thompson, 38, of Baton Rouge, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Tuesday in connection with an incident investigators said happened late Monday night.
According to the arrest warrant, Thompson pried open the door to the woman's home on 75th Avenue, hit her with a piece of wood and kidnapped her.
Thompson allegedly took her back to his home on East Mason Avenue, where he reportedly forced her to have sex with him.
The report stated the victim eventually spoke with police. It added she had wounds on her body that matched her story.
Thompson faces charges of domestic abuse battery, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree rape and home invasion.
He is currently being held on a $260,000 bond.
