BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Rashard Robinson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers with the 35th pick in the fourth round, which was a compensatory selection.

The former LSU cornerback was taken as the 133rd overall pick in the 216 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-1, 177-pound sat out his junior season after he was suspended indefinitely the week of the Alabama game in November 2014. He never played another game for LSU.
