Rashard Robinson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers with the 35th pick in the fourth round, which was a compensatory selection.
The former LSU cornerback was taken as the 133rd overall pick in the 216 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-1, 177-pound sat out his junior season after he was suspended indefinitely the week of the Alabama game in November 2014. He never played another game for LSU.
During his career at LSU, Robinson played in 20 games, starting in eight of them. He had a total of 33 tackles, one interception and four pass breakups while playing for the Tigers.
