The New Orleans Saints have released safety Vinnie Sunseri and defensive end Tavaris Barnes.
Sunseri, a three-year veteran from Alabama, sat out the entire 2015 season after injuring his knee during the preseason.
In 2014, Sunseri played in nine games and recorded five tackles before a season-ending arm injury.
Barnes, an undrafted free agent out of Clemson, played in 12 games last season and recorded five tackles.
