Hundreds of thousands of people flocked to two huge festivals in Louisiana this weekend and the weather was perfect for the events.
Festival International de Louisiane celebrated its 30th anniversary this year from Wednesday to Sunday.
Those who attended enjoyed various forms of music from across the world, including - Canadian folk, Cajun waltz, Creole fiddling, Reggae, Haitian and many more. More than 600 performers and artists were on hand to please the crowds.
Food is also a big part of the festival. Vendors served dishes from Louisiana, the Caribbean, France, Africa and more.
The first weekend of Jazz Fest was also held.
Steely Dan, Pearl Jam, Van Morrison, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nick Jonas and J. Cole were some of the performers who took the stage for the first weekend.
