BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Rain will stay away as we end the weekend. Clouds will be on the increase by afternoon and evening.
It will be comfortably cool to start off Sunday with lows in the upper 50°s. Conditions will remain mild into the afternoon even with highs climbing into the low to mid 80°s.
Temperatures and humidity will be on the rise as we move through the work week.
A weak upper level disturbance will pass the area on Monday, possibly squeezing out a few isolated showers. We're mostly staying dry for the first part of the work week.
By Wednesday, there is a big split in the weather models with half bringing scattered thunder showers back into the forecast and keeping them around into next weekend.
The other half keeps things dry. Right now, the forecast reflects a wetter pattern, but confidence is very low, so check back for future updates.
