BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said a woman accused of shooting at a tax preparer was arrested in connection with the incident and has since bonded out of jail.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers said wanted fugitive Reven Compton, 26, turned herself in to detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department on Thursday.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office reported Compton was released from the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Thursday after posting a $25,000 bond.

According to investigators, Compton got into an argument with an employee at a tax business over the preparation of her taxes.

Investigators added at one point during the argument, Compton took out a handgun and fired at the employee, who managed to run and hide in the bathroom.

Police said Compton left the scene before officers arrived.
