BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Southeastern University Lions are LSU's next mid-week challenge on Wednesday night at The Box.

The Lions are 26-11 overall this season and have a 13-2 conference record. SLU is currently leading the Southland Conference by 1.5 games over Sam Houston State.

Southeastern is looking to get back on a winning streak after losing four of their last five games, including one to No. 21 South Alabama (1-2) and two games to UL-Lafayette (1-4, 4-5).

This year, the Lions are 2-0 against the Tulane Green Wave and 1-2 against the Ragin' Cajuns.

SLU is hitting .289 on the season with 58 doubles, 32 home runs and 32 triples.

Jameson Fisher: .462 batting average, seven doubles, nine home runs, 41 RBI    
Drew Avans: .333 batting average
Carson Crites: .322 batting average. eight doubles, one triple, five home runs and 21 RBI      
Ryan Byers (.303) and Webb Bobo (.295) each have five home runs on the season

Opponents are hitting only .219 against the Lions pitching staff.

Kade Granier: 3-0, 0.38 ERA, four saves   
Drew Avans: 1-1, 1.35 ERA. three saves       
Kyle Cedotal: 4-4, 1.46 ERA in nine starts     
Domenick Carlini: 4-1, 1.76 ERA in nine starts
