BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a woman they say rammed a woman's vehicle and later beat her up.
Police say the incident happened just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of West Brookstown Drive.
According to a police report, the victim was in the vehicle with her boyfriend when she was rammed from behind by a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Tykeisha Seals.
The victim told police that Seals continued to ram her vehicle and demand that she pull over until the victim arrived at her home.
Once at the residence, the victim says Seals approached her vehicle and began to punch her in the face repeatedly.
When police arrived, they say Seals refused to get out of her vehicle. Once police placed her in handcuffs, Seals allegedly spit in the victim's face while being escorted to the officer's vehicle.
According to police, Seals' 1-year-old daughter was in the backseat of the vehicle, unrestrained, during the incident. Police say the child did not suffer any injuries and she was later left in the custody of her father.
Seals was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with second degree aggravated battery, two counts of simple battery, resisting an officer, disturbing the piece fistic, and cruelty to juvenile.
No bond has been set.
