The McNeese Cowboys ride into to Alex Box Stadium Tuesday night with a four-game winning streak to face the LSU Tigers.
McNeese has an overall record of 18-11 and is 10-5 in the Southland Conference.
Connor Crane and Lewis Guilbeau lead the Cowboy hitting attack.
Crane has a .382 batting average along with 11 doubles, one triple and five home runs. Guilbeau is hitting .370 on the season. He leads the team with 25 RBI.
Austin Sanders will take the mound for McNeese against LSU. He is 2-2 with a 6.00 ERA.
The Cowboy bullpen staff is led by Trent Fontenot and Collin Kober.
Fontenot has made 16 appearances out of the bullpen and has a 2-1 record with a sparkling 0.83 ERA. He has 18 strikeouts in 21.2 innings pitched.
Kober has 10 bullpen appearances with a 1-1 record and a 2.14 ERA. He has 23 strikeouts in 21 innings.
LSU (21-10, 6-6) is coming off one of its best weeks of the season, winning three games and taking two out of three against Vanderbilt.
Freshman Jake Latz will make his collegiate debut on the mound for the Tigers.
First pitch between the Cowboys and Tigers is set for 6:30 p.m.
LSU will host Grambling Wednesday night before traveling to Columbia, MO for a three-game series against Missouri.
