CENTRAL, LA (WAFB) - Investigators said two juveniles were arrested in connection with a fire Monday night inside a Walmart.
The fire happened at the Walmart in Central around 9 p.m.
The Central Fire Department reported two juveniles from a nearby neighborhood were booked on aggravated arson charges. Their names are being withheld due to their ages.
Derek Glover with CFD said the store reopened Tuesday at 7 a.m.
Officials said a section of an aisle containing yarn caught fire. Firefighters said they arrived to find the fire had been put out by store employees and a customer who was on the aisle. They added other customers were still in the store.
Firemen said they evacuated the store and set up fans to clear the smoke.
