BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Firefighters responded to a big warehouse fire Wednesday night in north Baton Rouge.

The Baton Rouge Fire Department was called out to the scene of the two-alarm fire near the intersection of Choctaw Drive and North Foster Drive around 9 p.m.

Officials said the building appeared to be abandoned and that the area was blocked off.

A BRFD hazmat team was on the scene, but found nothing hazardous. However, officials told people to stay inside and away from the scene just in case.

Firefighters got the flames under control overnight and no injuries were reported.
