Man arrested after being recognized while trying to rob snowball stand

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baker resident faces an attempted armed robbery charge after he allegedly tried to rob a snowball stand.

On March 6, a suspect, later learned to be 25-year-old Terry Davidson allegedly pointed a handgun, a loaded 38 caliber revolver, at employees working at a snowball stand on North Harrells Ferry Road and demanded money from the register.

Baton Rouge Police officials say Davidson was recognized by an employee at the stand. A bystander then wrestled away Davidson's gun and gave it to a security officer at a nearby supermarket, according to a Baton Rouge Police probable cause report.

Davidson was positively identified out of a lineup and charged with attempted armed robbery.
