BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A Mississippi-based crafts store will be shutting down for good, including two stores in Baton Rouge.

Hancock Fabrics will shut down its remaining 185 stores after being sold to Great American Group as part of a $65 million bankruptcy deal.

Store closures are expected to begin soon. There were 70 stores that were already in the process of being closed before Friday's announcement.

Hancock has over 10 locations across Louisiana. The two locations in Baton Rouge are in the Sherwood Plaza Shopping Center and the Drusilla Shopping Center. There are also stores in Lafayette, Houma, Slidell and New Orleans that will close.
