EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, LA (WAFB) - A woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly threatening employees at a Popeye's restaurant, according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a call of a disturbance at the Popeye's located in the 14500 block of Wax Road.
According to the restaurant manager, a woman, 21-year-old Tyieesha Franklin, and three males were inside of the restaurant when she (the manager) asked one of the males to pull his pants up. That is when she says the group became irate and started screaming obscenities towards her.
Deputies say Franklin then told the group that they should leave before she did something to the manager and she then allegedly threatened to shoot up the restaurant.
The manager told deputies that when she asked the group to leave, Franklin demanded that the manager give her BBQ sauce before the group left the restaurant.
Deputies say that the manager advised them that the incident caused a major disruption and scared all of the customers inside the restaurant.
Franklin was later arrested and taken to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where she was booked with terrorizing and disturbing the peace.
